Dr. Jay Wortman studied Biology and Chemistry at the University of Alberta and Medicine at the University of Calgary. He finished the Household Medicine residency at UBC before beginning a personal practice in Vancouver. He started combining that with part-time centers at the STI/HIV the BC Centre for Disease Control where he eventually ended up being the full-time Associate Director.
