A few of people stated their flatbread was a little crumbly and not strong which got us back into the test kitchen area to learn what might be triggering it. We discovered the brand of almond flour (has to be super finely ground) and coconut flour made a distinction, however by adding 4-5 T of psyllium husk rather of 2, made a distinction, or 1T of Xanthum gum likewise made them stronger. So IF you discover your flatbread is not as sturdy as you 'd like, try these two things. It does not affect the great taste! Likewise make sure to let them cool to space temperature level..

  6. I’ve made this a few times. I think it is much better adding 1 egg. I also use about 1 – 2 teaspoons of golden flax seed flakes. Those really help to improve the color of the bread well, and have great health properties.

  7. Just made it! Even after the extra water and waiting 15 minutes still too crumbly so I added 1 4th cup more of water. I read somewhere psyllium husk absorbs different by brand. After that no problem! Thanks ladies!

  10. Thanks for the video, I made it yesterday and it was perfect ! To those of us who don’t have a tortilla press or roti maker, use any vessel with a flat bottom and press on the dough after flattening it a little by hand. And if you prefer ghee (clarified butter) instead of butter, use it to get a great taste !!

  11. Ladies, thank you so, so very much for posting this! It’s exactly what I need! I’m trying to be keto vegan as well as gluten free. So you can imagine how happy I am to have found your video! 😀

  12. Awesome job, Ladies! 👏👏👏 A while ago I tweaked a similar recipe to come up with what is almost identical to yours, which really helps since I’m eating predominantly plant-based keto. Although I’ve successfully made keto rolls and buns, I find this to be my staple bread, as it is so quick and easy to make. I generally make mine smaller (more like “sandwich thins”) and use for PB&J, Burgers, and ‘Tuna”, but have also made ground “beef” chalupas and grilled veggie burritos from the larger ones. Either way, they are DELICIOUS! 😋

  13. The best Low Carb flatbread recipe, I love the commentary and all the suggestions you are explaining. It is good to know the “why” I am adding such ingredients. Thanks for the comments and for keeping it all simple. You both make a great conversational video. Love it! Make it more videos, and yes, please, only music at the intro then you do not need the music. Your beautiful comments and voices are more than enough! 🙂

  14. New sub here! Was looking for a good flat bread recipe and found you! I’ve been keto since May 20th 2017, now in maintenance. I lost 82 pounds on keto after being fat for decades! Thank you for putting the work into this channel! Keto for life! ❤️

  15. These flatbeds are tasty. The dough is fragile and a bit difficult to handle, but once they are cooked, they hold together well. I used them for hummus and to dip in olive oil because they were so tasty on their own.

  16. OMG! I’ve got a gizillion keto cookbooks but this is the best keto bread recipe I’ve tried yet. BTW. Nutritional Yeast is a great additive for vegans who miss the pungent flavor of cheese. Such a lifesaver. Good job girls…👏👏

  17. I really needed this recipe! Recently transitioned to keto diet and I made a curry earlier without having anything besides cauliflower rice to eat it with. This is going to pair well with it! ☺️
