🌅 sunrise on a beach sounds pretty nice right about now! This week, my plan is to cook and eat at home. These last 2 weeks dealing with and losing Darby, my 14 year old Sheltie, have really taken a toll so I decided I need to give myself grace and take care of me.

🌞 🏝️ I am experiencing a weight loss stall and feeling discouraged. I just went up to 12.5 MJ and I’m like you it starts to lose effect by day 4. Those last 3 days before my next shot I’m trying to not undo what I accomplished the first 4 days…ugh

Enjoy your vlogs and signed up for your group. I can attest to the fact that even if you have bariatric surgery it doesn’t keep the weight off long term. I had a lap band back in 2005. I started at 213 and lost down to about 177 and was happy there. Stayed at the weight for a number of years but going thru menopause, gained back up to around 200. Thank goodness a friend told me about Mounjaro! I have amped up my walking. I usually try to do comparable to a 5k (3. something miles) since I do several 5k’s in the fall. 🌅 Sending a beachy sun emoji!

I hope those people are ok. I did see that on the news, but before the lawsuit was filed I guess. I also have GI issues, however; because this being a pharmaceutical and has to do with GI ACTUALLY, then I chose to read and research. Honestly if I had just gone on what my licensed and loved Endocrinologist did not say or rather did not hilite, I may have been shocked. I hate nausea and those days are not fun but again manageable and my benefits the other many days and scale far outweigh the negatives. Thank you Sunshine 🤩🌞☀️😎

🌅☀️I’m glad you mentioned the gastroparalysis lawsuit. It is an important hurdle for these pharma companies to navigate. That being said, pharma companies get sued all the time. It’s only “news” this time because people are so divided about weight loss and whether it’s “okay” to use a drug to do it. I don’t think anyone questions whether it’s okay to use it for controlling Type 2 Diabetes, but there are still a *lot* of people who think obesity is a lifestyle choice, not a chronic condition that needs to be treated just as much as high blood pressure, for example. Those people are the type of people who look down their noses at obese people and blame them for their crippling condition rather than trying to lift their spirits and wish them well.
