10 Keto One-Pan Recipes with Easy Cleanup 2022

one-pan meals are the ideal thing to whip up after a long day at work or just when you don't have much energy left in the day. With really little clean-up and a quick, scrumptious meal in under thirty minutes, one-pan meals will be your new go-to dishes that will end up being a staple in your home.

Feel free to add more veggies (like sauteed cabbage, roasted broccoli, roasted cauliflower, roasted brussels sprouts) to your meals if you're looking for something a bit bulkier. You can usually toss those in the oven and have the remainder of the meal prepared by the time they're done.

If you want to include your own spin, sub out different meats and veggies to your taste and tastes!

  6. This cabbage and bacon is one of my favorite go-to meals, quick, simple and so satisfying. Sometimes I add a fried egg on top of each serving–heaven!

    2. I forgot all about that dish til this video…my mom used to make it for us growing up. I remember though it having a little sour flavor to it, maybe she added a dash of white vinegar at the end…or she used saurkraut instead of or with the cabbage. I started craving it watching them make it, on my grocery list now for dinner tomorrow.

    1. You’re very welcome! Just a quick word of advice: if you are feeding keto recipes to your partner and they eat high-carb otherwise, just be a bit careful. A high-fat diet in combination with high-carb is going to be quite unhealthy in the long-term.

    1. @RuledMe You repeated almost exactly what i said about sundried tomatoes in different wording as I said higher carb content per gram, take away the water and they weigh less, making them higher carbs per gram. In your recipe your going by the cup, not by weight. Really doesn’t matter as they are higher in carbs either way by the cup or by the gram. I’ve also seen a lot of Doctors on youtube that say high Omega 6 levels and low Omega 3 levels can hinder ketosis. Oils like soybean, canola, and peanut oil are high in Omega 6’s. If your young, slim, active and exercise a lot you can eat 50 net grams of carbs and stay in ketosis. Dextrose and other similar additives in processed foods can also hinder keto production within the liver, that’s why no processed foods while doing keto diet. You want fat to fuel your body not protein…so if you eat too low of fat and a lot of protein won’t take you out of keto? That’s basically the Atkins diet.

    2. @Richard Baumgart You had said that anything dehydrated is higher in sugar, but it’s got the same amount of sugar – just less water. The sugar content doesn’t increase. 1 sundried tomato would have the same amount of sugar as a regular tomato, just 1 of them has the water removed. Sorry if I didn’t clarify.

      Ketosis is a metabolic process that happens in the body that happens when, simply put, there isn’t any energy coming from carbohydrates. Omega 6 vs Omega 3 won’t affect ketosis. Soybean, canola, and peanut oil are not great oils to eat, but none of them would hinder ketosis.

      Dextrose is not in all processed foods either. Dextrose and sucrose are sugars that would be easy to identify on a label. There are “low carb” processed foods that use maltodextrin which is a sugar alcohol that many companies will subtract on the packaging from carbs, but that is a sugar alcohol that affects blood sugar and would hinder ketosis. There are plenty of sweeteners that don’t affect blood sugar and won’t interfere with ketosis, though.

      There *can* be healthy processed foods, too. You buying a chicken thigh and taking the bone out would be processing it. Obviously it’s best to eat as little processed foods you can, and focus on whole foods, but the act of processing food has nothing to do with ketosis.

      Again, you’re confusing ketosis with being healthy. They are not mutually exclusive. Plenty of people do ‘dirty keto’ that’s full of processed foods and some sugar, and there are also plenty of people that do ‘clean keto’ that has no processed foods and focuses on the highest quality ingredients. Both versions of keto will get a person in ketosis, but one is healthy and another is not.

      In today’s world, I find most people doing keto long-term is on the spectrum closer to ‘clean keto’ but still eat some processed foods that make life convenient and easier to live since a ketogenic diet can be somewhat restricted.

      It seems you’re conflating different ideas together. Ketosis doesn’t necessarily mean you are eating healthy, it simply means you are limiting carbohydrates. It sure is better in the long-term if you are eating healthy, though – and that’s something that I preach on a consistent basis.

    3. @RuledMe It’s confusing because it seems every so called expert and doctor says something different. Thanks for your input. What sugar substitutes does not raise blood sugar? When i drink diet pop with aspartame it seems to raise my blood sugar as it makes me hungry.

    4. @Richard Baumgart Different people preach their own versions of ‘keto’. Keto is simply the process of being in ketosis. Everyone has their own views on what’s best or what is worst – but none of that really matters if you are just talking about ketosis from an objective standpoint. Objectively the act of restricting carbs will get you in ketosis no matter how healthy the things you eat are.

      I personally cover all sides of keto (from dirty to clean) because not everyone wants to be on keto long-term and not everyone wants to eat clean 100% of the time. Though I do think that clean keto is the best way to eat if you are doing it long-term and/or for health reasons (this is also the way I eat on a daily basis).

      For sweeteners, aspartame isn’t great but it shouldn’t raise blood sugar levels. It can make you hungry and crave sugar, though. There are some studies being done on low-carb sweeteners that show that it can produce an insulin response in some people and typically tends to lead to increased hunger and cravings. So they are best to avoid, but I personally think they’re fine to have as a treat every now and again.

  18. Im new to keto, but already in 1 week dropped my fasting uncontrolled blood sugars from the 230-250 range, down to 149 on last check!! I’m going to start tapering off my meds!
